I spotted these at Amoeba this weekend. Could dismembered arms be a new trend in album art?
On the left is Spiritualized's Amazing Grace and on the right is Spoon's brilliant Kill the Moonlight.

what -- the Spiritualized album isn't brilliant too? pshaw. Though when you compare overall quality of those two bands' catalogs against these two releases, I agree, Spoon comes out on top ........

Well, I can't say that I'm really that familiar with Spiritualized's catalog, so you could certainly be right. All I know is that Spoon is excellent and cut-off arms are the new black.

the exact arms from kill the moonlight are also on the cover of a book that i saw at the harvard bookstore recently. but now i can't remember which book it was.
